Parking: garage at the south side of the park for 1,500 cars; there
is parkingspace for 33,000 cars (garages and private lots) within a
15-minute walk
Bank One Ballpark. It is one of the most modern baseball stadiums of
the world with a seating capacity for 49,033 and an retractable roof. The
BOB (short form for Bank One Ballpark) was opened 1998 (first exhibition game
on March 31, 1998).
The stadium is the "home" of the Arizona Diamondbacks (World Champions 2001) but
is used also for different events like concerts during the off-season.
The retractable roof can be closed (depending on daily weather conditions like
heat, rain, storm,...) within 4 minutes and provides in combination with the
stadium aircondition (!) a pleasent environment for the baseball-fan in the
Arizona desert.
Game tickets. Ticket prices (regular season 2003) range for single games
from $1 up to $78, for season tickets from $456.50 up to $6,017.50.
There are also special promotion tickets and group tickets for some games
and/or days available.
Postseason and Championship-game tickets are higher.
