The first American museum dedicated to American Impressionism, California
School (1890-1930s); displays also Russian and Soviet Impressionism of
the Cold War era (1930-1980s).
Unfortunately this museum has closed it's door on Nov. 15, 2002.
It was planned to reopen at a new location in Downtown Scottsdale
which is now uncertain. For more infos please go to the

I was fortunate and could visit the museum several times, including
special exhibitions of 'Western saddles' and 'Buffalo Bill's Wild West' and
met Mort and Donna Fleischer.
